Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm Shares

The biggest risk a farmer can take is to plant a seed. CSA is a partnership of shared risks and shared rewards.

For over 18 years, our farmers (Jeff and Jen Miller, and team) have done just that, growing USDA certified organic produce year round at the Prairie Crossing Conservation Farm.

Each vegetable share includes an assortment of 6-10 different vegetables (about the equivalent of a paper grocery bag). Produce is selected by us based on what is fresh and ready to harvest that particular week.

We are proud to offer fruit shares with IPM (integrated pest managed) fruit grown by Mick Klug Farms and egg shares with pasture-raised brown eggs raised by Joe’s Farm.

The Program

Participants in our CSA make an upfront financial commitment to our farm each year. This allows our farmers to purchase seeds, plant cover crop in our fields, care for infrastructure, and pay our farming crew. In exchange, we provide participants with our freshest vegetables, fresh fruit, eggs, a weekly newsletter and special farm experiences.

Select the season and products you’d like to join us for. As the season approaches, we will be in touch with participants to share more about what to expect and when, where and how to pick up their share of the harvest.
