Donating stock is a simple and tax-efficient process that can typically be completed through an electronic transfer.

When you donate stock, you leverage non-cash assets to help provide youth and workforce development, rooted in a thriving regional food system – right here in Lake County. 

How to get started

Step 1

Kindly notify us of your gift and confirm transfer details before initiating a stock or wire transfer. 

Please provide the following information: 

  • Your name

  • Your mailing address

  • Your email address

  • Type of stock

  • Number of shares 

When you provide us this information, especially your name and address, we can personally thank you and send a tax receipt.

You may need our Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN) or 501(c)(3) determination letter to initiate your contribution.
