About Zachary
Zachary is a resident of Round Lake, Illinois and is a recent graduate from Grayslake Central High School. In his time in high school, Zachary enjoyed performing his French horn with the wind ensemble and on-stage in theater productions. Nowadays, he enjoys spending time outside and volunteering for environmental groups. One such group was with the organization Citizens for Conservation in Barrington, Illinois, where Zachary aided in seed collections of native plants and removal of invasive species within remnant prairies. Zachary hopes to continue to promote community stewardship and invaluable hands-on experiences in the outdoors this summer as a camp counselor at Liberty Prairie! In this fall, Zachary will pursue a Bachelor’s in nursing at Loyola University Chicago within their Interdisciplinary Honors program.
