About
I grew up in a small town in Guanajuato, Mexico. My family owns a farm where we produce pomegranates, limes, pecans, and corn. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Communication Science and a Master's degree in Digital Media. For twelve years, I managed the family farm, focusing on organic production and permaculture. Seeking to expand my knowledge of plants, I attended the College of Lake County, where I pursued an A.A.S. in Horticulture and graduated in 2024 with a certification in Horticulture Production. While attending college, I worked in the Horticulture department and was honored to receive the CLC Values Award of Excellence. After graduating, I volunteered at Greenbelt Farm in Waukegan.
