Take a peek inside...our land management crew is on the farm road!
For years, the goats managed the land near their home. They helped trim trees and brush up from the ground, and cleared weeds in the woods near Summer Farm Camp, making room for kids to learn under the shady tree canopy.
Now we're teaching them a new skill: riding comfortably in the "pumpkin carriage" as we move them around the farm. Once they're solid on boarding and unloading, this is how they'll get to some of our most unruly hedgerows, where they'll go to work on invasive plants.
In the meantime, we're giving them practice time in their future silvopasture. Then, we'll cart them back home at the end of the day for some rest and relaxation with their sheep friends.
