Through hands-on exploration, campers harvest plants from the farm, twist and weave their own natural cordage, and investigate how animal fibers are transformed into yarn.
As they create, experiment, and observe, campers uncover the hidden story behind everyday materials—learning how clothing, tools, nets, sails, and more all began with fibers from the land and animals. This immersive week builds deep understanding for the resourcefulness and history that connects people, nature, and making.
